Arts & Dafts has been around since January 1, 2008. Starting out as a dumping ground for my random projects and thoughts, I grew to realize I wanted A&D to be something much more...

The internet has become an amazing place for artists to grow.  The "up and coming" no longer go unnoticed. So while I try to make it big with my own photography, I also want to be part of helping others be seen.  Not only does it give artists a chance to be viewed by new eyes, it also inspires and motivates you, the readers.  It's a win/win!

There's really no limit on the topics I'll discuss.  I find art in painting, photography, writing, crafting, cooking, fashion, inventions...I could go on for days.

A little about me: 

I have been blogging since 2002, but it's taken me until now to create just the right space.

I am a photographer, artist and a writer. I work as a theater technician on and off Broadway in NYC to pay the bills.

I live in Brooklyn with my fella, Johnny, of 8 years. We have 2 black cats, Sid (Vicious) and Joey (Ramone)
