Dear Friends and Readers,

I'm really not one for making excuses but I feel like I need to explain myself to those whom I've been neglecting that last few days.  That would be you. 

Normally I'm reading, commenting and replying to comments as fast as I can but the last few days have been....how you say....jam packed? Choc full o' goodness?  A touch on the chaotic side? 

Of course I went back to work this past week (which turned out not so bad after all) and the fella returned.  Both very mind consuming on their own.  But what you don't know is we've been working behind the scenes to clean up Coffeerooms.com, the awesome site that hosts a number of blogs including Arts & Dafts and also has some great forums.

Coffeerooms is actually 11 years old!  I know, that's like ancient in intertime.  Recently we've brought in a new forum look, added new features and we're trying to play catch up.  A growing phase if you will.  You know, a more Web 2.0 Coffeerooms. 

The most time consuming has been implementing a new stylish template for this very blog!  Oh boy you're going to LOVE it.  The format is pretty much the same but very stream line, clean and some new bells and whistles.  I've been having a great time working with odyglo to get it ready for a release, but it's taken up what is usually my blog commenting time. 

So please forgive me for my recent neglect.  I promise it is only temporary!  Now that we're settling back into life as we knew it and the template is nearly done,  I should be able to get back to my regularly schedule program. 

I really can't wait for you to see the new and improved look.  It's really gorgeous.
